Kayla is a Yarrawonga local and is so proud to be offering Osteopathy to the Yarrawonga/Mulwala community

Our Practitioners

Dr. Kayla Whinray (Osteopath)

As a local, Kayla is incredibly proud to be providing Osteopathy in her hometown. Her passion comes from a desire to help the local community overcome their injuries to achieve a better quality of life.

Kayla values taking great care to listen and understand the needs of her clients, to deliver results that align with their goals. Kayla firmly believes in educating and empowering her patients to assist with recovery and also the prevention of re-injury.

It has been Kayla’s great privilege to represent Australia for Kayaking in her former years. This is what sparked her interest in the way the human body moves and how to optimise on this.

Dr. Jarrod Barnes (Osteopath)

After graduating from RMIT University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy), Jarrod worked in Melbourne for 4 years and Brisbane for 2 years alongside experienced Osteopaths, Podiatrists and Physiotherapists before living and working overseas for the past 6 months.

Being active from a young age, Jarrod has been exposed to a wide range of injuries himself which sparked his interest in how the body works and figuring out the best way to alleviate and prevent pain. Jarrod does this through a variety of techniques and offering tips and tricks tailored to each patient.

He believes education plays a key role in maintaining optimal health. Understanding how the body works from a practitioners point of view is crucial but transferring that knowledge to patients in a simple and easy to understand manner is the goal.

Outside of the clinic you’ll find Jarrod with friends and family out on the lake, in the gym or tennis ball and lead in hand with the families red Labrador.

Jarrod has been a regular in Yarrawonga over the past 15 years during the summer visiting family but has now made the move permanently.
